This policy explains how Klaude LLC ("KLAUDE", "we") processes personal data when you use klaudepay.com, submit an enquiry or application, or otherwise interact with us. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm controller identity, EU/UK representative if required, and DPO details.]
1. Who we are

2. Data we collect
- Enquiry and application data: name, work email, phone, WhatsApp number, company name, website, country of registration, business description, processing volume, current provider, requested services.
- Onboarding data (if you proceed): company documents, identification of directors and beneficial owners, bank and processing statements, licences — as required by acquiring partners for KYB/KYC.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral source. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (see Cookie policy).
- Communications: emails, messages and call notes.
3. Why we process it and on what basis
- To assess your payment requirements and respond to your enquiry — pre-contractual steps and legitimate interests.
- To introduce you to and coordinate with acquiring banks, payment institutions and other partners — contract performance and legitimate interests; partner onboarding is subject to their own privacy notices.
- To meet legal obligations including anti-money-laundering, sanctions screening and record-keeping — legal obligation.
- To operate, secure and improve the website — legitimate interests; analytics with consent.
- To send relevant service information — legitimate interests or consent where required; you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
Acquiring banks, payment institutions and payment-service partners for the purpose of assessing and providing services; IT, hosting, email and CRM providers acting as processors; professional advisers; regulators and authorities where legally required. 5. International transfers
Partners and processors may be located outside your jurisdiction. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm transfer mechanisms.]
6. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless you proceed to onboarding. Onboarding and compliance records are retained for the period required by applicable AML and financial regulation (typically 5–10 years). [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm retention periods by jurisdiction.]
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact privacy@klaudepay.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and restricted storage of application data. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to privacy@klaudepay.com.
